How to Enable Telnet Client In Windows 7

Telnet is a Protocol which is used to connect remote computer and Administration on Remote server from command Prompt. In Windows XP and Windows vista telnet client is  enable by default. But in Windows 7 you will have to Enable Telnet Client  manually. Telnet Client used to connect with remote desktop by Telnet protocol.
If you try to run telnet command on command prompt in windows 7 without enable Telnet Client then you will get some error. Now you will have to Enable Telnet To Run Telnet Command in Windows 7

1. Click on Start Button then Click on Control panel .

2. Now on the Control Panel Window Click on Uninstall a Program under Programs. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
3. Now On the Programs and Features Windows Click on Turn Windows features on or off icon on the Left pane .
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
3. Now on the Turn Windows feature on or Off windows Enable Telnet Client Check Box and then Click on Ok .

4. Now Telnet client Feature Installing Process Going on after completion you can able to access remote connection through Telnet .
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
5. Now Go to Command prompt and then Type Telnet then IP Address of the Router or switch  which you want to access. and then Press Enter .
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
6. Now It will ask for Password for verification now Put Password and then do your task on the remote server .
