How to Create Home Folder for Domain Users in Windows Server 2008

[post_ad]Home Folder use to backup of Users Files and Document  in the Centralized Location . Administrator can manage users files and Document from the Server where Home folder is created . Users can access easily Home folder from any Computer on the Network from Centralized Location .

Create Home Folder in Server 2008



Follow these steps to Create Home Folder………….

1.  Create a Share Folder  with Full Control Permission to Everyone .

2.  Click on Start then Type in search box dsa.msc and Press Enter to Open Active Directory users and Computers .


    





3. On the Active Directory Users and Computers window , Right-Click on User Account ( Rakesh Kumar ) , then Click on Properties .






























4.  Now on the Properties Window , Click on Profile tab , then Select Connect  radio Button , then Select Drive Letter P: and then Give the assign the Path of Home Folder . and then Apply and Ok .

Home Folder path Ex –  \Server nameHome folder nameUser Name

















Now Home Folder has been Created you can see Home Folder to Log on through User Rakesh Kumar . and Go the the My Computer Explorer
